Hello, I’m Corliss and I have been a member of New Destiny since 2017. I serve in the Prayer ministry, and children’s ministry in addition to being a deaconess. I believe God led me to here because it is a church filled with God’s love. I felt His love through his people the first time I walked through its doors.
I have a son who lives in Hampton, Virginia and a daughter who lives here in Fredericksburg. I also have two granddaughters. I love the outdoors, taking walks, gardening, or just sitting and listening to God’s creation. I also enjoy reading and crocheting.
There are so many scriptures that could be called my favorite, but the ones I quote the most when faced with a challenge arePhilippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ whichstrengtheneth me” and II Timothy 1:7: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
